In this adventure, the skiers are expected to go through the wind drifts, deep powder, variable crusts, and the slick surfaces. Although the activity can be very exciting and challenging, only the advanced skiers and snowboarders in good physical condition are admitted.

Nordic Skiing
Explore the hidden beauty of the Solitude Mountain that is well kept in the woods. The Solitude Nordic Center features the 20 kilometers of well maintained trails suited for Nordic’s classic and skating styles. This exciting adventure will take the skiers at 8,700 feet of jagged mountains and let them skate through the nature’s wonderland.

Ice Skating
Take the kids and the young at heart at the resort’s finest and newest ice skating sheet. Watch them glide and slide while interacting with other kids in the rink. This resort facility also provides skate rentals and features the fire-rink side where kids can warm those chilling hands. Avalanche Dog Demo
The Ski Patrol of Solitude Mountain Resort offers the avalanche dog demonstrations for the entire winter season. These dogs are being used during search and rescue operations in the entire Wasatch range. Watch the dedicated trainers with Solitude’s five dogs as they go through the tough test of skills and endurance in saving lives.
